• Understand different methods of signal generation using data from automated health care databases
• Know signal detection in longitudinal databases

• Understand principle of signal detection (spontaneous reporting system versus. longitudinal databases)

• Explain which data sources and strategies can be used to identify mechanism of Adverse Drug Reaction

• Use European Union Adverse Drug Reaction platform for signal substantiation
